In the past ten years, the cost to mail a first class letter has risen five times. Starting Monday, you're going to pay 44-cents instead of 42-cents to send a first class letter.
We found a little help that may save you some frustration and a trip to the post office.
The Pak Mail at Centennial and Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs is giving away sheets of twenty 2-cent stamps to folks who come by on Monday, May 11, 2009.
That could come in real handy, especially when you're in a hurry to get that bill in the mail, and you only have a book of 42-cent stamps.
If you need more stamps, you might want to grab some liberty bell "Forever" stamps before Monday, to lock in the old rate.
If you're out Friday, why not grab a free cup of free coffee.
You can get a free hot mocha or iced mocha at any Southern Colorado Mcdonald's starting tomorrow, May 8th. Better yet, you can also get a free cup every Friday through May 29, 2009. Just drop by the restaurant between 7-A.M. and 2-P.M..
