Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo shows its appreciation to our military families by hosting a Military Appreciation Weekend this Saturday and Sunday, September 18th and 19th. Admission for active duty service members and their families will be $4.25 a person. That's $10 off an adult admission and $3 off a child's admission. Children under 2 are admitted for free.
Everyone can receive free admission to the Money Museum near downtown Colorado Springs on Saturday, September 18th, from 10:30am to 5pm. You'll learn while you have fun. The regular admission for ages 12 and over is $5. The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center also has a free day on Tuesday, September 21st, from 10-to-5.
Thrift store shoppers can save even more during Goodwill's "Donor Appreciation Days." Just bring in a donation to Goodwill by Sunday, September 19th. You'll receive a 20% off coupon to use through the end of September.
