The 2010 Colorado State Fair officially kicks off Friday, August 27th and runs through Monday, September 6th. Here's a list of the deals that could save you and your family money:
Colorado State Fair Mega Ride Pass
Purchase an $80 Mega Pass at Ticketmaster outlets or at the Colorado State Fair Box Office and receive free gate admission and an all-you-can-ride carnival pass good for all 11 days of the Fair.

Get the jump on all the carnival rides this year with a $10 all-you-can-ride band the night before the actual Fair opens! Gate admission is free.

Pepsi Weekend Gate Crusher
Pick up an Orange Crush at your local Pepsi retailer and look for the coupon for $1 off gate admission on any Friday, Saturday or Sunday on the back of the can. Actual empty can must be presented at the gate for recycling.
Saturday, August 28
The Colorado State Fair thanks and appreciates the hard work of marching bands in preparing to perform in the State Fair parade. All marching band members in uniform get free gate admission and will perform on the Pepsi Stage throughout the day.
Sunday, August 29
Military Appreciation Day presented by KCCY 96.9
Active military personnel, with proof of military affiliation, receive free gate admission and are eligible for a $5 PRCA Rodeo ticket. Retired, discharged military and family members of active military receive $3 off gate admission. Plus, visit the WeatherPORT tent at 5:00 pm for a free military appreciation concert with Nashville recording artists Jesse Lee and Joanna Smith, in honor of our military men and women. Active military can take advantage of the $5 rodeo ticket through the State Fair Box Office for the PRCA Dodge Rodeo at 7pm.

Celebrate the end of summer with this spectacular special. Pick up a State Fair gate admission ticket for only $3 at any Loaf ‘N Jug store. The $3 ticket is good Monday through Thursday.

CSU Systems Alumni Night and Thunderwolves Night at the Rodeo
CSU students and alumni, with proof of CSU affiliation, may purchase a ticket for the Colorado State University Dinner & Alumni Party from the CSU Alumni offices. The dinner will take place near gate 2 at 5 pm, followed by the Alumni Party on the arena stage, held during the 50th PRCA Dodge Rodeo. In addition, Thunderwolves athletes will be given a ticket to the rodeo performance.

Pepsi Dollar Day presented by News First 5
Admission to the Fair, carnival ride, and rodeo tickets are all only one dollar each this Tuesday. Never been to a rodeo before? This is a great way to check out the original extreme sport. For only one dollar, you can watch top cowboys and cowgirls compete. Price does not include gate admission, which is also just $1.

Back to School Day presented by Loaf ‘N Jug
Free gate admission and $11 discounted carnival ride band coupons for students with tickets distributed at participating Southern Colorado school districts.
The City of Pueblo is offering a free day at the City Park Kiddie Rides this Sunday, August 29th, from noon until 9PM. face painters and clowns will also be on hand. The event honors the city's 140th anniversary of incorporation.
You'll find big bargains at a huge childrens book sale in Colorado Springs. The East Library on Union Boulevard is hosting the book sale this Saturday, August 28th, from 10am until 2pm. Hardcovers will cost you 50-cents and paperbacks are priced at 25-cents.
