President Woodrow Wilson signed an act creating our National Park Service back in 1916. And in August, patrons of the parks get a special treat. Anyone can enter every one of our national parks August 14th and 15th absolutely free of charge. Visit any of Colorado's seventeen national parks or make a weekend trip to Mt. Rushmore or Yellowstone. This is the last free weekend of 2010. Camping and other fees do still apply.
A local salon is making sure our kids look their best for the start of school and helping your family budget at the same time. Euphoria Salon in Pueblo is offering free haircuts for students ages 5 to 12, on Saturday, August 14th, from 1pm to 5pm. The salon helped 150-kids with new "do's" last year.
