Not everyone can afford a Thanksgiving feast. That's why the Salvation Army is asking you to make or buy an extra pie for those having dinner at their Community Holiday Dinners Thanksgiving Day.

The organization is in need of about 800 pies to feed thousands at the annual event, held at six locations around El Paso County.

Pies can be brought to 908 Yuma street in Colorado Springs Wednesday, November 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
