The Colorado Springs teen accused of making methamphetamine in his family's million-dollar home is scheduled to go to trial July 11.
You may remember the story, which was the focus of an 11 Call for Action Investigation.
Tuesday Martin Marshall, 19, appeared before a judge at the El Paso County Courthouse. His attorney requested a jury trial.
Marshall will face a number of charges including possession and manufacture of meth.
The million-dollar Pergrine home, where the alleged activities occurred, was later sold to a family who's now suing Martin's father, Brian, for fraud and breach of contract. Tests conducted by an expert found the Tuscan-style villa was contaminated with meth, which never was disclosed in real estate documents. The home was shut down for months and decontaminated, costing more than $100,000.
That civil lawsuit is still pending.
Charges alleging that Brian Marshall was involved with his son in the manufacture and possession of meth were dropped last month.
