Suzanne let me know about this scam which targets renters.
The email claims your home will be seized by police because of alleged illegal activities at your house.

You're told you have 30 days to vacate or you'll face fines and even jail time.

You're asked to click on an attachment to respond back, but don't do it.

Crooks are only trying to infect your computer. Once they get control of it, they'll use it to send out even more spam to other people.

Colorado Springs Police tell me if they believe you're doing something illegal, they won't send you an email. They'll show up at your house.
