Nestlé is recalling Raisinets 10 oz. "Fun Size Bags" with a production code of 02015748/UPC number 2800010255.

They may contain undeclared peanuts. People who have allergies or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. Nestlé says it is taking this action out of an abundance of caution.
They were sold at Target, Shop Rite and Don Quixote retail stores.

Also, a limited number of "Mega Pops" brand lollipops may contain traces of foreign particles.

As a precautionary measure the manufacturer, Colombina, is asking customers to return these lollipops to their retailer and instructing retailers to recall the product voluntarily.

Colombina believes the product presents no health risk.

The recall is for Colombina Brand Mega Pops in 14-ounce and 28-ounce cellophane bags containing watermelon, cherry, orange and grape flavored pops.

Affected Mega Pops can be identified by UPC Code numbers 0 14272 10873 9 or 0 14272 10862 3, and are in lots marked as Lot #1240695, Lot #1209708, or Lot #1209796.

The lot number appears in a white square on the lower left hand side of the reverse of each bag.

The company says customers who return the product to the store where they purchased the product may receive a refund or store credit for the purchase price. The offer applies to all bags of Mega Pops about which customers may have a concern, regardless of lot number.

Are you kidding me? It's just before 8pm... I'm sitting here browsing the web while my teenagers hand out the goodies to kids and this article just gets posted a short time ago, ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT? Fortunately, we aren't giving these items this year, but how about some more timely warning, people!? Like DAYS in advance? Or did the companies just decide to inform the public of this on Halloween afternoon? Sheesh.
