Lynch expressed but one regret regarding his time with the Broncos. And no, it wasn't about his sudden departure from Denver this summer, when he decided he couldn't be a locker room leader if he wasn't in the starting lineup.

Lynch says he expected the Broncos to win a championship, and his "only regret" is that they didn't get that done.

The 37-year-old Lynch finished with 1,277 tackles, 100 pass breakups and 26 interceptions in 224 regular-season games.

He says he's still adjusting to life without football, but plans to do some television work and hit the ski slopes.
