The Denver Broncos on Tuesday traded cornerback Domonique Foxworth to Atlanta in exchange for an undisclosed choice in the 2009 NFL Draft, Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced.

Foxworth joined the Broncos as a third-round draft choice in 2005 and totaled 166 tackles (138 solo) and three interceptions (68 yds.) in 46 games (18 starts) through his three seasons in Denver.

He was selected by the Broncos in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft out of the University of Maryland.

Foxworth had an active role in creating the Darrent Williams Memorial Teen Center.
