seems that all the ' strong low pressure/ storms AWAYS produces the north wind making it impossible for snow to occur in the city here, now when ever we get the S - E winds going in here seems that only results in fog, freezing fog & EXTREMELY light snow at the most , a very long time ago this area use to get some accumalating snow off the SE wind ( upslope for us ) but not in last 15 yrs, wondering just what is it going to take to get a good SE upslope that woudl actually hang long enough that is produced by a strong low, how or what is it that would be required to get such a system in here to do that ? seems everyone else been getting it over the last 8 yrs but right here, is it never possible for anything more than 8 to 10 inch to occur here in downtown and south ? jon
