Learning From A Legend...

Doesn't matter how long you've been covering storms, you can always learn more. I pride myself in staying plugged in to storm coverage from around the country. Seeing how other people do it, and trying to learn from them. I constantly stay in touch with how one "legend" does his job. His name is James Spann. He's a legend across the country and especially in his home state of Alabama. Here are a few of his recent thoughts on how we (as meteorologists) cover storms, and some suggestions to the contrary. Good behind the scenes stuff... Check out this link: http://www.alabamawx.com/?p=58352 Will be posting more about this later... Brian

Is there anything in this article that you took to heart? I think you've done a pretty darn good job of keeping coverage limited to commercials, thank you for that, and of covering those rural areas. That's why I use kktv for weather. the other places just aren't as good
