You are right Shawn, the storm jogged a little too far to the north. If you watched me yesterday afternoon and night, I expressed my concern about this movement. That is why I stressed that the worst weather would be from Woodland Park to Calhan and northward. Sometimes these big cutoff lows have a mind of their own. Still some good totals on the north side of the county, with Monument and Black Forest reporting over a foot. Thanks for reading our blog and have a good weekend.

Hey Branden or Brian- Just curious if the strength, track, intensity, and movement of this storm all changed? This was certainly not a classic Albuquerque Low! I know the weather here is practically impossible to predict but i was just wondering what happened? This was no different than a strong snow shower event for the Springs.
