January 12th Snow Totals

A fast moving storm system dropped accumulating snow across portions of Southern Colorado.  Wind gusts over 45 mph also produced poor visibility and hazardous travel conditions through the first half of the day.  Here are the storm totals:

Cuchara  9"

Florissant  6"

Beulah  6"

Monument  5.5"

La Veta  4"

Walsenburg  3.5"

Aguilar  3.5"

Calhan  3"

Black Forest  3"

Trinidad 2"

Colorado Springs  1-2"

Pueblo  No Accumulation

    Brian, I value your opinion on your forcasting and would like to know your prediction for this coming summer. Will my pastures rebound, is there any hope for a wetter spring/summer?
