The Arctic pipeline is full, open, and running and we will likely see another dose of Arctic air this weekend. With the current pattern, we are readily able to tap that cold air that resides in Canada. As you can see there is plenty of cold air to our north, so I am afraid that this Arctic air is going to be an occasional occurance for the rest of the Winter
At the same time, we will also likely see some mild air from time to time. Back in November we saw numerous days with above normal temperatures. Now, we are seeing the other extreme. Just be thankful we don't have any deep snowcover east of the mountains. If we did, boy we would get cold and stay cold. More on this in the coming days.
