Updated: 8:32 AM Anthony Wright has the biggest reason to gripe. He was one of the biggest reasons the AFA defense was so good in 2009.
Posted: 10:48 AM Stanford's comeback win over Notre Dame was a fitting way to end Charlie Weiss's career in South Bend. For five seasons he teased Irish fans thinking they were better than they really were. Saturday night, the Irish held a late lead, only to blow it in the final minutes. He's a tease.... So long Charlie!
Updated: 8:32 PM The Pac-10 continues to impress me with five teams in my Top-25.
Posted: 2:12 PM Fired UNLV Coach Mike Sanford could help "spice up" the suddenly vanilla Broncos offense.
Posted: 9:24 AM Gators and 'Horns continue to be the front runners for a trip to Pasadena. However, the Frogs look ready to pounce if given a chance.
Updated: 9:59 PM He lives and works everyday with a smile. Lessons we should all take to heart
Posted: 11:16 AM Look out... The Frogs are coming! The Frogs are coming! Check out how I voted in this week's Harris Poll.
Posted: 9:38 AM We are starting to see the Texas team that I envisioned we would at the start of the season when I predicted the Horns to win the national title this year
Posted: 11:03 AM I have always been a big believer in Gary Patterson and the TCU Horned Frogs... but this just may be their year. I have ranked the Frogs #5 this week. However, Iowa is the biggest mover... up six spots to #4.
Updated: 7:55 AM I was very disappointed with the Big 12 North this week. Specifically Nebraska and Kansas. Just as I jumped on the Huskers bandwagon, they let me down by laying an egg at Texas Tech. Where was that spark I saw for one quarter at Missouri? Where was the momentum carry over? Great teams ride momentum and win road games at Texas Tech.
Posted: 11:41 AM Don't blame Huston Street for the Rockies exit from the 2009 playoffs. Thank him for guiding the Rockies back onto respectability.
Updated: 1:41 PM I have dropped Texas from the #1 spot for the first time I am on the national Florida band wagon after the Gators impressive win in Death Valley.
Posted: 9:56 AM LSU's road win at Georgia has allowed the Tigers to leap over Virginia Tech to #4 in my poll this week. Oklahoma's second loss of the season drops the Sooners from #7 to 19.
Posted: 10:07 AM Texas is #1 in my poll. Virginia Tech, Oregon and Houston are on the rise this week.
Posted: 5:16 PM The outlook for this Denver Broncos season has been less than spectacular. From one web site to the next the predictions from experts are bleak...8-8....6-10....even 4-12. I however am not ready to give up on this season before it even begins.
Posted: 3:06 PM BYU and CSU's road wins on opening weekend prove the conference can compete with the best and should be rewarded with a automatic BCS bid.
Updated: 10:14 PM I was dressed in knickers, equipped with hickory-shafted clubs and a sleeve of mesh golf balls. I looked the part, just didn't play the part well. But what an experience!
Updated: 7:53 PM I expect an "up and down" season for the Denver Broncos. Flashes of greatness, along with plenty of rough patches. Find out how I grade each position group heading into training camp.
Posted: 5:05 PM If you take the human element out of sports, and have no personal connection to your team then what reason do you have to cheer for them? New coverage guidelines at the Air Force Academy may limit how we distribute information to our viewers.
Posted: 9:18 PM Men's Health gives praise to our city. I offer my thoughts on why were are fortunate to be sports fans in Colorado Springs. What do you think?
Updated: 8:17 PM Brandon Marshall's problems will follow if not dealt with head on.
Posted: 8:43 PM First Matt Holliday, then Clint Hurdle, now get ready to say goodbye to Todd Helton. Rocktober is officially just a great memory. There are just 60 days remaining (from publish date May 31st) until the Major League Baseball trade deadline on July 31st. Before that deadline hits Todd Helton should be playing first base in another city.
Posted: 12:58 PM The Nuggets and Magic may ruin the "Ultimate Finals" plan.
Posted: 10:46 AM There is one thing I can say for sure about the Denver Nuggets, they are undoubtedly the most talented team in the NBA. In fact they have been for a few years now, and they are better this year than ever before. They are bigger, faster, stronger and deeper than every other team in the league including the Lakers. However, with that being said they are still not ready to win a title.
