Week four of college football is in the books! As mentioned in previous blogs, I am a voter this year for the Harris Poll in college football (1 of 114 in the country). The Harris Poll is 1/3 of the formula that decides who plays in the BCS bowls, including the National Title Game! Each Sunday I will reveal how I voted right here on the "Talk Sports With Jesse" blog at www.kktv.com/talksports. Below is how I voted after week four of the college football season. Feel free to comment by clicking below.
I am a firm believer, USC is #1 until they prove otherwise. In my mind, LSU is 1B and Oklahoma is 1C. However, they won't let me vote that way. I was looking for a reason to put Air Force in the Top 25 this week... But an uninspired showing at BYU (31-6) solidified in my mind the Falcons aren't ready for that sort of attention yet. But Troy Calhoun has this team on the right track! Two teams I am VERY high on (outside of the big four) are Boston College and Oregon. Look out for the Eagles and Ducks this year. I think Nebraska is on its way out of the top 25... Michigan is on its way back. However, the Wolverines won't face another test until Nov. 10th until they face Wisconsin. So they'll be a tough team to gauge.
