'Tis the season to put the target on my back. Everybody wants to take down the "Sports Guy" in March.
March Madness presents a no-win situation for guys like me. If I win the Office Bracket Pool, it's because I'm supposed to. If I don't win, it's a colossal failure. Truth be told, NOBODY is an expert when it comes to Bracketology. Look no further than Dick Vitale (ESPN College Basketball analyst). Vitale has Kansas and Villanova in his Final Four.... both teams were dealt early exits in the second round. That's what puts the "madness" in March Madness! It presents the ultimate level playing field. Both on the court and in Bracketology.
Through two rounds, my bracket is not busted... But it's not dismal either. Five of my Elite 8 teams are still alive (Ohio State, Syracuse, Xavier, Duke and West Virginia). I have Syracuse, Duke, West Virginia and Kansas (oops!) in my Final Four.
Right now, I sit in 9th place (out of 29) in the KKTV Office pool. If I win, great! If I don't, great. Because when it comes to March Madness it's not about the destination, it's all about the journey. And so far, the journey has been AWESOME!.
Can't wait for the Sweet Sixteen to start on Thursday evening right here on KKTV!
So, who do you have in your Final Four?
