Tebow is way overrated he is the biggest bust in the NFL. He does not know how to read through the progression of recievers. drafting Tebow will be the biggest mistake the Broncos will have ever made Posted by: Jeremiah Martell Location: Dade City,Fl The Denver Broncos need leadership to be successful. After going 6-0 the first 6 games was great, but then they fell, because of Kyle Orton the Broncos then went 2-8 in their remaining games. Its time for a good leader to motivate the hard stomping Broncos. Thats why Tim Tebow should be their main draft pick. Posted by: P.J. Location: Colorado Springs Josh in regards to your comments to Daniel, Cutler and you had problems that was all your fault to begin with. Just about all of your coaching staff has left to go elsewhere for 2010, Brandon Marshall was giving you problems, so trade him already! What does this all tell you? You Suck as a head coach and no one wants to work for you, and the players don't really like you all that much, plus you come in here thinking that you can completely change the way OUR! Broncos play football, just because you came from the New England Patriorts. Josh you don't get it! this ain't New England! This is Denver Colorado, this is Bronco Country, we play football the Denver Bronco way and we treat everyone with respect including all of our players. So either win a Super Bowl in 2010 or leave Denver Colorado. Posted by: tebowfan101401` Location: marianna florida don't you dare try to say tim tebow isn't a good quarterback just look at the stats he has proven time after time after time seriously grow up and get out of tebow's damn business and get a fuckin life Posted by: Scott Location: Colorado Springs Colo Denver needs to work on the front line of both sides of the ball. and get a good pass rusher to stop the pass and a run stopper... Posted by: Josh Location: KKTV Sports Daniel, I would agree that if we are talking about talent then Marshall may be the best since 1999, but talent alone means nothing. A player who causes distractions in the lockerroom can be dealth with as long as it doesn't carry over onto the field. Unfortunately, Marshall has let his attitude impact the team on the field. We will probably never have a reciever of his talent level in Denver again, but there are plenty of guys who can get the job done. How many playoff games has Marshall helped Denver win? Zero. Time to try something different. Posted by: Daniel Location: South Dakota Josh i think you should keep Brandon Marshall hes the best thing that ever happened to the broncs since 1999 Posted by: Jack Location: Denver I agree. I wouldn't take him early in the draft but if he is available in the 3rd or 4th round then I say draft him. He won't be the starting quarterback but the more high character guys the better. Posted by: Hank Location: Pueblo All those things you mentioned about having the best arm, talent, throwing motion? u just described Kyle Orton. The Broncos tried to remake themselves into a "team of character" and what did it get them? nothing more than last year. I know Marshall and Cutler are malcontents, but that's pro sports! not everyone in pro sports has great character, especially stars. Babe Ruth was at times a drunk and clashed with managers. Michael Irvin had his problems. the test of a good coach, and organization, is to be able to mold the personalities into a team that can strive for one goal. character isn't keeping us home or getting us beat by KC, Oakland, and Washington, its Josh McDaniels not being able to do that. says quite a bit about McDaniels character that he can't look past himself and compromise or admit his own faults. he'd better learn, because he's kidding himself if he thinks there aren't other Marshall's and Cutler's, and that he won't need them to win. Posted by: Chuck Location: Colorado Springs Lou Holtz is quoted as having said, "Motivation is simple. You eliminate those who are not motivated." Posted by: P.J. Location: Colorado Springs Jesse, I couldn't agree with you more, we definitely need a player like Tim Tebow playing for the Denver Broncos. But first things first, we need to fire Josh McDaniels as the head coach, and bring in Gary Kubiak as the new head coach of the Denver Broncos, and then trade Brandon Marshall to another team. Maybe, and I mean maybe we might be able to get into the playoffs next season, without waiting to see if, and I mean if! we make it into the playoffs in 2009, which I really doubt will happen. Posted by: ryan Location: kentucky i personally am a huge fan of tebow and i completely agree with you the guy is a great role model and will only give a team like the broncos more fan support and team support. tim tebow has a way of making a team the best it can be. bringin him in would "clean-up" any organization in hurt. He is nothing more than a quaterback wanting to do gods will no matter what the situation is. thanks for this. i would love to hear more from you and your opinion about tim tebow Posted by: JD Location: Florida I agree with what's written in this article. I am an avid Tim Tebow fan but I can see where he'll need a lot of work or improvement. With that said, Tebow's determination and character will surely help him in his transition. It makes me wonder why his virtues are received negatively by others instead of appreciating them. Do people really prefer to hear about athletes getting arrested, committing crimes and acting like "divas"? It is my opinion that Tim Tebow's character is a breath of fresh air in the sports world. I hope and pray that he will be able to hold on to it. |
