Jesse, here is a top story for 2010, Mike Shanahan accepts not only the Head Coach position for the Washington Redskins, but he will also be the new Executive Vice President of their Football Operations, and Kyle Shanahan has also accepted the position in working with his Dad and will be joining the Washington Redskins as their new Offensive Coordinator. It would have been nice to also see Gary Kubiak joining them as well as the new assistant head coach, but unfortunately Gary has his head coach responsibilities in Texas with the Huston Texans, either way I wish them all the very best in their endevors, Kudos to Mike Shanahan, good for him! Posted by: Jake Location: Colorado Springs On your #1-The Broncos "exceeded" expectations? That's a bit homer aint it? A team that starts 6-0 and now probably wont even make the playoffs with losses to powerhouses like Oakland and Cincy? Heck, they got lucky to beat Cincy and we all know it. Maybe the expectations were low nationally, but you dont fire your head coach and not expect to be better. Essentially this year is the same crap, new boss. Plus now we're stuck with Orton instead of real franchise QB. Cutler story is number one. That trade is screwing both teams. Bears have nothing to draft with, and the Broncos lost the one piece that would have made them a contender-a QB. Posted by: Karen Location: Colorado Springs St. Mary's girls soccer team won the 3a state title, the girls basketball team took 2nd in the 3a basketball tournament. You failed to mention these. |
