For a third straight year College Football's Harris Poll has extended me an invitation to be a Top 25 voter (1 of 114 in the country).  I am honored to be trusted with such a huge responsibility.  It's a role I am passionate about and take very seriously as the Harris Poll is a huge part of the BCS equation that determines who plays for a National Championship.  I will continue to make my votes public on this blog site.  Check in each Sunday morning to see how I voted.  Feel free to leave your thoughts, praise and/or criticisms in the "comment" feature on this page.

No change in my top eight this week.  Florida, Texas and Alabama rolled over cupcakes this weekend to remain in control of their championship destiny.

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record but TCU is LEGIT!  Saturday's win over Utah is just another feather in the Frogs cap.  The Utes are a darn good football team (their only other loss was to Oregon) and TCU made them look like Utah State!  I'll say it again... If I'm Urban Meyer, Mack Brown or Nick Saban, I would want NO part of TCU in a bowl game.

Oh how the mighty has fallen.  USC takes a big fall this week to #20 after getting pounded by Stanford.  The Cardinal is the only team to have beaten the Trojans at the Coliseum since 2001... and they've done it TWICE!  USC still may be the most talented team in the country, but their proving talent alone doesn't make a good team.

Here is a look at how I voted in this week's Harris Poll:

Rank # 1: Florida
Rank # 2: Texas
Rank # 3: Alabama
Rank # 4: TCU
Rank # 5: Boise State
Rank # 6: Cincinnati
Rank # 7: Georgia Tech
Rank # 8: Oregon
Rank # 9: LSU
Rank # 10: Ohio State
Rank # 11: Pittsburgh (Pitt)
Rank # 12: Penn State
Rank # 13: Oklahoma State
Rank # 14: Stanford
Rank # 15: Utah
Rank # 16: Iowa
Rank # 17: BYU
Rank # 18: North Carolina
Rank # 19: Virginia Tech
Rank # 20: USC
Rank # 21: Wisconsin
Rank # 22: Clemson
Rank # 23: Miami (FLA)
Rank # 24: Houston
Rank # 25: Oregon State
