Jesse Kurtz's Top 25 Poll - Sunday, November 2nd

The Red Raiders stole the show against Texas and have vaulted into the Top Four. However, Florida was just as impressive as Tech.

Texas Tech is no longer a gimmick in college football.  The Red Raiders validated their status as one of the top teams in college football with 60 minutes of exciting football Saturday night.  The did what no other "top team" (ie: Oklahoma, Missouri or Oklahoma State) could do.  Silence the 'Horns.  Graham Harrell and Michael Crabtree are the most electrifying duo in the country and they proved it last night with a last-second touchdown to beat Texas.  I have moved the Red Raiders up to #4 this week.  Texas drops to #5.

How 'bout them Gators?  Hammering rival Georgia at the "Cocktail Party!"  Florida is finally healthy and they're proving that health translates into wins.... BIG WINS.  Urban Meyer's boys are up to #3 this week.

'Bama and Penn State are the two top dogs in college football.  The Tide has one last hurdle to clear in route to the SEC Title game, next Saturday at LSU.  Nick Saban and company are on a collision course to meet Florida in the SEC Championship, which likely will eliminate one of those teams from contention for a national title.

It will be an interesting stretch run in college football.

Until next time, keep livin' the dream.... Jesse Kurtz, KKTV Sports Anchor/Reporter
