Hey!  I'm still working on a healthier 2010.  It's working so far!  I'm keeping up with my cardio and the pounds keep coming off!

It was just another day in the news world.  I was out in the field shooting a county commissioners meeting.  All the competitors were there: KRDO, KOAA and KXRM.  At one point all of our cameras were lined up in a row.  We were waiting to interview an El Paso County attorney about a settlement deal commissioners had just approved.

Just before the interview a photographer from KRDO came up to me and said, "Hey, have you dropped a few pounds, you're looking thin."  I was caught off guard at first.  I only see this particular photographer maybe two or three times a month.  That just goes to show my weight loss must really be noticeable.  It's always nice when something like that happens.  I'm deep into my weight loss plan and sometimes things get boring.  After that random compliment, I'm re-energized and determined to stay on track to meet my ultimate goal!

Just to keep you updated, I'm still 15 pounds down at 183 pounds.  My original weight goal was 184.  But Jerod Langness, my 24 Hour Fitness trainer gave me a new goal; 171 pounds.  What's up with that?  I meet my goal and he changes it on me just like that:).  I guess that's what a trainer is for!
