Alright – it’s confession time. I’ve fallen off the wagon a bit with my healthy lifestyle.
I just knew summer would make it easier for me to get focused with my eating. I’m not teaching right now, for one. So I have less 12 hour days. And then there’s all that yummy summer fruit - just ripe for the picking… watermelon is one of my favorites. And the weather is nice. Plus, grilling is so easy right now…
And yet… it’s not happening for me! I’m not making the progress I should with the time I have available to me.
I’m pretty sure I eat my stress. Do you know what I mean when I say that? It sounds weird, I know. But when I’ve got a ton on my plate… I literally WANT a ton on my plate! And I’m not talking fruits and veggies, people. I’m talking – I want heavy processed, lots of desserts… yeah, like that.
But all hope is not lost. As easily as I fell off the wagon, I can get back on too. (Well maybe not technically as easy, but you know what I mean.)
I’ve got my workout buddy, Eric Lupher, sitting right behind me… always cheering me on. I’m dedicated to a lifelong goal of health. This isn’t short-term for me. I’m not trying to fit into my swimsuit or skinny jeans. I want to be healthy!
