I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:

The journey continues to reaching my New Years Resolution... of being able to do a pull-up.
I'm soooooo almost there!! And I’m getting so much stronger.
That’s all thanks to my trainer, Keith Banner with actionwrX. He’s keeping me pumped up and on track. I WILL do a pull-up! It's going to happen!
It's been interesting to chat with people, when they find out I'm still pursuing that goal! So I thought I would address the question I get the most.
What's the difference between a Chin-Up and a Pull-Up? I'll let my coach explain.
"The main difference between a chin-up & a pull-up is the hand position...a chin-up places your hands so that your palms are facing you. And, the pull-up places yours with your palms facing away from you," says Keith.
Check out the pics to see the difference... chin up on the left... pull-up on the right:
Another important difference... "The chin-up is the easier of the two," says Keith.
That probably explains why I can do chin-ups now, but haven't made it to pull-ups.
But that’s about to happen. I’m so excited to meet this goal!!
