Visiting Abbey Road

A visit to Abbey Road has been on my to-do list to for a long time, and I finally got there!

As an avid Beatles fan Abbey Road the album, the studio and the street has been on my radar screen for as long as I can remember.  A visit there has been on my to-do list to for a long time.

Too. I finally got there!  It's really not a big deal visually, I think intentionally so.   The studio has a small sign announcing what it is.   The street has that iconic zebra crossing as the English call it.  The only way you'd know there was ants thing special about it is that people like me are there taking pictures....all the time.  It is the spot where th Fab Four famously crossed the street for a picture, which became an albu cover, which obecame a part or music history. To recreate it exactly you'd have to stand in the middle of a busy street.  None of us there that day did that, but all of us there that day tried.  This picture is pretty lame but it is my feet on that very zebra crossing.

Someone remarked that the constant stream of picture-seekers must really annoy anyone who drived down Abbey Road every day.  My response....knowing about that steady stream of picture-seekers, why would anyone drive down Abbey Road every day?

We'll talk again soon.
