GLAD TO BE BACK
I'm always happy to be back in Colorado. I just spent two weeks and a day visiting Europe. Over the next few days I'm going to write some blog entries here at "The Written Ward" about some of the things I was lucky enough to see and do.
It might help you if you're planning a trip. It might just be fun to read! Here's a preview.
I'm going to talk about a lot of different things, such as why the simple statue below is the one piece of art I'll remember most from the trip.

What the long spiral staircase below has to do with a huge disaster in the late 17th Century.
And why I really shouldn't have been able to take the amazing picture below.
