Top Of St. Paul's

Pictures at the top of the cathedral.

On a recent trip to England I decided to see what kind of images I could capture with just an iPhone 5.  Some of the pictures have been adjusted for brightness and some have been cropped.

That dome is 365 feet tall.  St. Paul's Cathedral was the tallest building in London from 1710 to 1962.

Just seeing it makes you want to climb to the top.  It's 528 steps but it's worth it for these views!

Here's London's latest tallest building "The Shard" as seen from the dome of St. Paul's.

You get a nice view of the Thames from up there with the London Eye in the background.

Zoomed in on the recreation of Shakespeare's Globe Theater, right along the south bank of the Thames.

If you get the chance, make the climb...all 528 steps. It's worth the trip.  Take a camera even if it's just a phone.  People up top are pretty nice about snapping a picture for you.  It does get pretty crowded in a tight spot, but with patience you get the pictures!

We'll talk again soon.
