A NICE THANK YOU FROM THE BOSSES
The Night crew came to work early today. We all met up with the day crew and with the morning people for a small celebration. All the department heads got together and grilled up some burgers and hot dogs for all the employees at KKTV.
A typical day at a TV station is pretty busy from start to finish, but we all took some time today to celebrate. The hardware below was at the center of the celebration.
KKTV was named Station Of The Year last month by the Colorado Broadcasters Association. I've blogged about that before. We won awards in many different news and promotions categories. I'm proud of what we did. Today at the party our General manager Tim Merritt told us that having won this particular honor two years in a row...it is now a KKTV tradition. I hope so. Thanks for lunch, let's do it again next year!
We'll talk again soon.
