A TERRITORY DAY
I spent a few hours Saturday at Territory days in Old Colorado City. KKTV sponsored the event this year and we had a booth to say hello to folks passing by for the Saturday portion of the three-day event. Here's me (right) with 11 News Forecaster and traffic guru James Brown. In the middle is my 11 News co-anchor Shannon Brinias.
We had 11 News staffers there all day handing out 11 news backpacks and mini-basketballs and re-usable grocery bags and lots of other goodies.

I must have shaken a few hundred hands! It was great to meet a lot of 11 News viewers. I also met a lot of facebook friends from my Don Wardkktv profile. I remembered to get a picture with some of them. I always feel bad that I don't necessarily recognize the facebook friends from their profile pictures when I see them in person..so I love it when you come up and tell me your name. I almost always recognize the names!

Here's a facebook friend named Mo Orosco ...he contributes a lot of comments to the ongoing facebook discussions.
Here's 11 News general Manager Tim Merritt (right) with another all-star contributor to facebook. Jim Cooley sends us a lot of great pictures! Thanks Jim.
Finally...below, here we are with another facebook friend named Linda Ragsdale...she is another all-star, a constant contributor to the conversations. Thanks Linda..great to see you! Hello to all the others who stopped by too!
It was a pleasure to meet all the 11 News viewers we met! Territory Days Continues Monday. Have a great time if you go.
We'll talk again soon.
