THE MORE YOU READ...

I want to say thanks to the kids in Mrs. Pedersen's 2nd grade class at Mountain View Elementary School. I spent some time with them this morning, reading a few Dr. Seuss books...all to celebrate the anniversary of the Dr.'s birth. Below are some pictures from my day with the kids.

In the 2nd one, you'll notice that a couple of boys might not be paying full attention...I prefer to think that they're taking notes...in case there's a quiz on "I Wish I Had Duck Feet".. Just kidding guys...the kids were great. I think we all had fun.

By the way, I did read "Oh Say Can You Say" again.....it's really hard. Buy it and try it! Try it out loud! ...I dare ya. I double-dog dare ya!

Hi Will..nice to hear from you. I had a lot of fun. You have a great class! You're right, I wouldn't want to read "Oh Say Can You See" on TV! As the date approaches next year, ask your teacher about guest readers...that would be up to teacher. Say Hi to the class. Don

Hi Don! Just read your blog and I really liked reading it! And I also liked the books you read to us in the classroom. My favorite book you read was "Oh Say Can You Say" because it was funny when you kept messing up! =) I bet you're glad you don't have to read that one on the air! =) Can you please come back next year and read in my 3rd grade class?
