WHEN TO SPOT THE SPOTS
We've had a lot of calls and comments about those new promotional spots, the ones with the dinosaur and wigs, etc. A lot of viewers want to know when they can see them again...or even for the first time. For the most part the response has been great!
Here's part of a comment from Nanci in Monument: "I finally got to see the commercial that everyone at my work was talking about yesterday. It was the KKTV commercial with the dinosaur. Wow, that was a great spot!"
Here's one from Dana in Pueblo: "Kudos to KKTV for doing something creative and out of the ordinary. Nice to see something fun, rather than the typical we're the best, fastest, accurate, yada, yada, yada. I also agree with others here to keep airing them, as they were some of my favorites also!"
They have been airing in a limited way during programming since Super Bowl Sunday, and they will for a few more days. I did some checking and here's when you can catch them again for sure. Tonight (Thursday) one or two of them will air at various points during the premier of the new season of "Survivor"
Saturday night we're airing the movie "Wedding Crashers". The funny 11 News promos will air at various times during that movie as well.
Finally, during 11 News at 10 this coming Sunday we will air all four of them..probably at the end of news blocks, but before the commercials start. Remember on Sunday nights we now do an hour-long newscast at 10. I know it's late for lots of folks..record it if you can.
For now we've decided not to put them on the website.
I hope this helps and if you haven't seen them yet I hope you like them!
We'll talk again soon.
