TEAM TOTALS UPDATED

A couple of weeks ago I blogged about Step Out to Fight Diabetes.  It's the annual fund raising walk at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, hosted by the American Diabetes Association.  I was proud to serve as emcee for the event.  In that blog I mentioned some very preliminary totals, donations were still coming in.  Below are some newer numbers from the ADA.  Congratulations to the following walkers for great work!

City of Colorado Springs - $4,039.29 CSS

Walks with Amaya - $3,523.00

Team RED - $3,160.00

Curves - $2,970.00

TOP INDIVIDUALS:

Curlie Matthews $1280

Theresa Straub $1245

Robert Harlan $1145

Greg Anderson $1135

Our kktv team raised about $1,800. It's not bad, but now we know what to shoot for next year.  Our secondary mission will be to get in that top teams list...the primary mission is to raise every penny possible, to wipe out diabetes.
