Thanks to Ernie Jones of Colorado Springs. He received an email that he knew was too good to be true and passed it on to me... to share with you.
This one will make the rounds I'm sure. It claims you have an inheritance of $10-Million coming to you from Nigeria. The catch... just passing on your personal and private credit and banking information. No thanks.
On top of that... this one comes form the head of the F.B.I. Yes, Robert Mueller will stand behind this transaction. Right!
When you get these kind of notices you have to ask yourself. Who do I know that will leave me $10-Million? Why is it coming from Nigeria? Do I know anyone associated with this email? What are they asking from me?
Warning bells should be going off in your head... because your credit and personal information are on the line, here. Crooks would love to use your indentity and would have no problem trashing it.
Do what Ernie did... delete the email!
