Air Academy Federal Credit Union Text Scam Again!!!

Crooks have gone back to a sure thing. They're trying to steal your money and personal information by sending you a fraudulent message. Don't believe a word of it.

Thanks to Michelle Concha who let us know this scam has resurfaced. She received a text message which said as follows:

AirAcademyFCUHasLimitedYourDebitCard.
PleaseCall:1-800-364-4086

I called Air Academy Federal Credit Union and was told yes, the bad guys have returned This is not a message from AAFCU. Don't call the 1-800 number.

When we looked into this issue before... we were told the crooks are after your dough, your personal banking information, as well as your identity.

If you're ever in doubt about the authenticity of such a message, call your bank first... and not the phone number texted to you.

This message may also be going out in email form... or you may get a phone call.
