Take a Turkey To Work Day

With the economy in transition, more families need help this holiday than in years past. Today, you have a chance to help out your neighbors.
It's Take a Turkey to Work Day! All you need to do is pick up a frozen turkey on your way into work or maybe during your lunch break. Then have someone at the office, bring the turkeys to one of four Wal-mart drop off locations in Southern Colorado.
Drop off sites in the Springs are the Wal-mart stores at the corner of Palmer Park and Powers, the store on south Eighth Street and the one next to the Chapel Hills Mall.
In Pueblo, just drop turkeys off at the Bonforte Boulevard location.
Care and Share Food Bank will use all the donations to help give 6-thousand families in our community a better holiday.
