Subway Robbed At Gunpoint, Employee Tackles Suspect

Colorado Springs police say a man robbed a Subway at gunpoint, but he did not get far before a store employee tackled him to the ground.
It happened at the Subway off West Garden of the Gods Road just before 8: 00 p.m. Thursday.
Police say the suspect came into the store demanding cash. When the suspect left the employee chased after him. tackled the suspect to the ground retrieving the money and the suspects gun.
Police say the suspect did get away. He is described as a white man 40 to 50 years old, wearing a dark coat, black ski mask and pink glasses.
