DETAILED WEATHER FORECAST

11News Storm Team Forecast

Updated @ 8:00 PM

Drier and warmer air has moved across Southern Colorado today keeping conditions mild and dry. Tonight some fog may form across the Arkansas Valley and around the Palemer Divide, otherwise the sky will be mainly clear. Through the rest of the workweek, some isolated showers and storms are possible over the higher terrain. A stray thunderstorm or two may have the chance to sneak over the I-25 corridor by late afternoon or evening tomorrow with the Eastern Plains remaining dry. Thursday looks to be nice and dry. Temperatures will be seasonal on your Wednesday with highs in the 70's and 80's before above normal temps return Thursday and Friday (80's and 90's). The weekend forecast looks a little questionable as of today, but a weak cold front may move through late in the day Friday, providing slightly cooler air, a little more cloud cover, and slightly better chances for storms mainly on Saturday and perhaps lingering into Sunday. Of course we'll always keep you updated on any changes to the forecast on KKTV 11 News and right here on KKTV.com.
