Health care reform is on the minds of many across the country and in the Senate Saturday, as lawmakers held a vote on Capitol Hill.

Senators had to decide whether to begin debate on the healthcare bill passed by the house two weeks ago.

It's a heated debate on capitol hill where some senators are trying to get the healthcare reform bill to move forward. It's also a heated topic in Colorado Springs. "I'm against it and I think they should vote against it," says Coleen Chrencik. "No, I am for it. But, I think there are a lot of changes that need to be made as far as before they can do something like that," says Andy Cowan.

Senator Mary Landrieu of Louisiana is one of last two democrats to make their votes known. The senator stressed her "yes," vote is a decision only for this particular vote and does not mean she will vote "yes" on the actual bill, saying work still needs to be done.

"My vote today to move forward on this important debate should no way be construed by the supporters of this current framework as an indication of how I might vote as this debate come to an end. It is a vote to move forward to continue the good and essential and important and imperative work that is underway," says Senator Landrieu.

Senate Republicans are united in opposition to the bill.
