Pueblo City-County Health Dept. Announces Nov. H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinics
Dates and locations have been announced for upcoming H1N1 virus vaccination clinics being held by the Pueblo City-County Health Department.

Dates and locations have been announced for upcoming H1N1 virus vaccination clinics being held by the Pueblo City-County Health Department.

Public Mass Vaccination Clinics:
-Saturday, November 14, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm; Pueblo West High School, 661 Capistrano Drive, Pueblo West, CO 81007

-Wednesday, November 18, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm; Pueblo City-County Health Department, 101 West 9th St., Pueblo, CO 81003

-Saturday, November 21, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm; Pueblo County High School, 1050 35th Lane, Pueblo, CO 81006

Priority Groups:
-Pregnant women
-People who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months old
-Youth and young adults 6 months to 24 years old
-Persons 25-64 years old with chronic medical conditions
-Law enforcement & Fire personnel
-Health Care and Emergency Medical Services Personnel
-Teachers and school secretaries

Several doctor’s offices have also received the vaccine. People are encouraged to check with their primary care physician to see if they have the vaccine. WIC clients can also receive the vaccine during
their regular appointments. Right now, the vaccine is not available through pharmacies in Pueblo County.

The health department is encouraging everyone to get the vaccine even if the have had symptoms of the illness. There are many illnesses circulating and to make sure you have immunity to the H1N1 virus it is
recommended to get the vaccine when it is available for you.
