I have to agree. I was obese when I arrived here. But after 1 year of enjoying Colorado and all the opportunities for health and sport I lost over 60 lbs. Thank you Colorado!

THAT'S AWESOME...HOWEVER, JUST GO TO THE MALL OR ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFETS AND IT MAKES YOU WONDER--THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE WHO APPEAR TO SET IN FRONT OF THE TV/COMPUTER WAY TOO MUCH WHILE THEY ARE TAKING IN MORE CALORIES THAN THEY ARE BURNING. NOT DISCRIMINATION --RE NEWS FOR U--JUST THE FACTS. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO NEED TO BE HEALTHIER, THERE ARE CHILDREN WHO DON'T HAVE SELF CONTROL OR GOOD HABITS FOR EATING OR EXCERCISE.

What makes you think that you're healthy just because your not over weight? I say skinny people should be force fed to make them look healthy. By the way where are all these fit people? I see more happy fat people than the ones that think their stuff don't stink.

so this is discrimination against obese people? gov. can step in and control, dictate and regulate your personal choices? oh yes they are already doing it , the anti smoking bill, the cap and trade bill will hurt farmers growing live stock yet the corn growers for ethanol get tax breaks yet they produce more GHGs, ah the talk to raise taxes on alcohol and the list goes on, what will be next? tax people based on their skin color, hair color, height, eyes?

TAX EXERCISE 1) CO2 is a greenhouse gas and should be taxed. 2) Breathing converts air (oxygen) into CO2. 3) Exercising causes one to breath more quickly thus producing more CO2.

Why do people who are in good shape need to pay for the fat people? I say if you are in good shape you should pay less medical insurance and if you are fat then you should pay more.

The system, sounds more like Hitlers SS party. If you are fit fine but don't push your stuff on others that are over weight. Where do you think the higher taxes will go fool, into the pockets of the fat cats in the Washington. Get real!

If you are fat you should pay a higher tax rate... maybe a Dr's general exam results to accompany your tax returns... and if you are in shape how about a tax break... we're not the ones breaking the system.
